How We Got Started
AP Auto Motors was founded by Alex Petrov, a first-generation immigrant who spent 15 years working the service bays and sales floors of large dealerships before deciding there had to be a better way.
In 2009, Alex opened a small lot in the Chicago suburbs with a simple promise: no hidden fees, no pressure tactics, and every car inspected before it hits the lot. That promise hasn't changed.
Today, AP Auto Motors is still family-run. Alex's son Marcus handles inventory and reconditioning, while the rest of the team — most of whom have been here for years — keeps things running the way they always have: honestly.
